01 / Community rules

Post something worth showing up for.

Vibe Quest is for finding real places, gatherings, classes, pop-ups, groups, tours, markets, and other things people can experience away from the screen. Keep every listing honest, current, useful, and safe.

What belongs here

  • A real activity, gathering, place, or experience that people can visit or join.
  • Accurate dates, availability, price, location, organizer details, and links.
  • Photos and words you created or have permission to use.
  • Clear updates when plans change, including pausing, cancelling, or archiving a listing.

What does not

  • Illegal, dangerous, fraudulent, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, or violent content.
  • Spam, misleading promotions, impersonation, fake scarcity, or duplicate listings.
  • Private personal information, access codes, or another person's home address without permission.
  • Anything that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

Private homes and small gatherings

Choose Private meetup when an activity happens at a home or another location that should not be public. Vibe Quest shows an approximate public pin and keeps the submitted exact address protected from public browsing. Do not place entry codes or sensitive access instructions in a public description. Vibe Quest does not currently manage invitations, attendance approval, background checks, or private messaging, so organizers should use a trusted external contact or registration method.

Reporting and corrections

Signed-in members can report a listing from its detail window. Use that tool for inaccurate locations, unsafe content, scams, rights violations, or listings that no longer exist. For an urgent map correction or a report you cannot submit in-app, email hello@vibe-quest.net with the listing title and city. Administrators may pause, archive, reject, or remove content and accounts when needed to protect the community.

Use your judgment out there.

Vibe Quest helps people discover listings; it does not inspect every location or guarantee every organizer. Meet in public when practical, tell someone your plans, protect your payment information, and leave any situation that feels wrong. For an emergency, contact local emergency services.

02 / Privacy

Collect less. Explain it plainly.

This policy explains what Vibe Quest collects, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

Information you provide

  • Account information: email address, display name, authentication records, and verification status.
  • Listings: title, description, schedule, price, category, vibes, links, photos, and location details.
  • Activity: saved listings, reports, moderation records, and profile field notes when those features are used.
  • Messages: information you send to the Vibe Quest contact address.

Location information

If you choose Use my location, your browser asks for permission and supplies coordinates so the map can find your general area. Vibe Quest does not continuously track your device. A public listing stores its map coordinates. For a listing marked Private meetup, the public listing receives an intentionally offset approximate pin while the submitted exact address and coordinates are stored separately with access limited to the listing owner and authorized administrators.

How information is used

  • Operate accounts, discovery, maps, saves, publishing, and uploaded media.
  • Keep listings accurate, moderate reports, prevent abuse, and protect the service.
  • Respond to support, safety, legal, and rights requests.
  • Understand reliability and improve performance. Vibe Quest does not currently sell personal information or run behavior-based advertising.

Service providers and public content

Vibe Quest uses Supabase for authentication, databases, server functions, and media storage; GitHub Pages for website delivery; and OpenStreetMap-based services for map and location data. Public listings, profile display names attached to listings, photos, and submitted links are visible to other visitors. External sites have their own privacy practices.

Storage, retention, and security

Account and listing data remain while your account is active or as needed to operate, secure, and comply with legal obligations. Reports and moderation audit records may be retained to prevent repeated abuse. Vibe Quest uses access controls and row-level database policies, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices

  • Edit, pause, cancel, archive, or delete your listings from your profile.
  • Remove individual saves and uploaded content through the available controls.
  • Delete your account from your profile. Account deletion removes your authentication record, owned listings, related listing data, and account media; limited safety or legal records may remain where required.
  • Ask to access, correct, or delete information by emailing hello@vibe-quest.net.

Local device storage

The site uses browser storage for session continuity, map preferences, prototype content, and interface settings. Authentication sessions are managed by Supabase. Blocking storage may prevent sign-in and other features from working.

03 / Terms

The practical agreement.

By using Vibe Quest, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and protect access to your account. You must be at least 13 to create an account, and anyone under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. You must be 18 or otherwise legally able to enter a binding agreement to organize a paid activity or publish a private-home listing.

Vibe Quest is a discovery platform

Organizers and visitors connect outside Vibe Quest. Vibe Quest is not an organizer, employer, venue operator, travel agent, ticket seller, payment processor, insurer, or party to arrangements between users. A listing is not an endorsement, verification, guarantee, or promise that an activity will occur as described.

Your content and responsibilities

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Vibe Quest a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the service. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it. You are responsible for your listing, communications, legal compliance, permits, taxes, accessibility, safety measures, and any external transaction.

Acceptable use and enforcement

Follow the Community Rules and do not interfere with the service, scrape it abusively, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, harvest personal data, or use Vibe Quest to facilitate harm. Vibe Quest may investigate reports, restrict distribution, remove content, suspend accounts, or preserve information when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, or service integrity.

External links and payments

Listings may link to registration, social, payment, Venmo, Cash App, or other third-party services. Use them at your own risk and review their terms. Vibe Quest is not responsible for external content, fees, refunds, disputes, or the handling of payment credentials.

Service changes and availability

Features may change, pause, or end. Vibe Quest may correct or remove stale listings and cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, permanent storage, or that every map point, schedule, or description is accurate.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent allowed by law. Vibe Quest disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for user conduct, activities, venues, travel, injury, loss, external transactions, or indirect and consequential damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Vibe Quest in the prior 12 months or US $100.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Material updates will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

04 / Accessibility

The map should be open to more people.

Vibe Quest aims to make discovery usable with keyboards, screen readers, zoom, touch input, and a range of devices. The team works toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA practices, including clear focus states, meaningful labels, sufficient contrast, responsive layouts, and text alternatives for important images.

Maps and user-created media can present accessibility limits. Listings should include useful written details rather than relying only on a photo or map marker. If something prevents you from using Vibe Quest, email hello@vibe-quest.net with the page, device, browser, and the task you were trying to complete. We will make a reasonable effort to help and improve the experience.

05 / Contact

Send a signal.

Questions, safety concerns, rights requests, map corrections, and accessibility feedback can be sent to hello@vibe-quest.net.
